It's been a fun filled week for us - field trip week!! We went to a play at the college Alice in Wonderland, to the park for some lunch and run around time and lastly we went to the planetarium. It was fun and a great day! :)
We are here!!
In the theater waiting patiently for the play.
Waiting to go into the Planetarium.
This week we worked with the letter Uu again -short Uu and long Uu.
Working on some sight words!
This week we reviewed nouns. We looked through magazines to find a picture for each type of noun. We then glued them to our noun chart.
Gluing our nouns to the chart.
Working on a Spring craft - umbrellas!
This week in Science we learned about solids, liquids and gases. Here are our anchor charts that we used.
One of our sight words: out. We listed somethings that were 'out' of our room.
Since we learning the letter Uu again this week - this activity went perfect for one of our sight words: under.
We colored and cut out some animals.
Glued on our brown Uu, colored some brown dirt and then some grass on the top. As we were doing this I had a Kinder shout out - Mrs. Bartling all of these animals live UNDER the ground! - ding ding! Love when they do these things. :)
We glued the animals under the ground because that is where they live. We then wrote the word: under on our paper.
They turned out perfect!
Our umbrellas all up in the classroom.
We started addition in Math this week. The Kinders are working on some addition problems on the IPADs.
Using our bug erasers to help us sort, count and add together.
