Even though we have not had much snow lately, we still learned about the different activities that you can do with or in the snow! We also learned about hot vs. cold as well as the letter Ii. We made an art project where we turned the letter Ii into ice cream, which we learned is cold, but if you leave it out it will melt!
We brainstormed some activities that we could do with snow. They had many great ideas, such as snow angels, make snow forts, eat snow (not yellow of course :) ), go sledding and of course snow ball fights! Since we didn't have any snow outside to enjoy some of these activities why not have a snow ball fight INSIDE!! Here are some of our pictures of our indoor snowball fight using cotton balls. It made a mess at the end but it was well worth it!

These next few pictures are when we learned about MLK Jr. and about bullying. We did an experiment with a brown and white egg. We discussed how the eggs looked different (shape and color). I asked them even though the look different on the outside, when I crack them open, will they look the same or different. This experiment helped show them that it doesn't matter what you look like on the outside/we all look different that we are all the same in the inside.
