We started our reading series this week and week 1 was a success! These Kinders catch on quick and are ready to go! This week we focused on how to write letters Aa-Ee. Part of our reading series for the first couple weeks focuses on learning to write the letters and introduce the sounds of them. Then we will take a letter or two at a time each week and focus on them only.
This week Kinders were introduced to what rhyming words are - they caught on like a snap. They were saying rhyming words all day!
Here is a little Aa activity that we did.

Our reading story this week was called The Little School Bus. We learned what characters are and sequenced them in our story. We also made our own little bus craft!
