Animals in Winter

We learned about animals in winter this week.  We learned how animals go under the snow to hibernate all winter.  We also learned about some of the animals that don't hibernate and how they stay warm.  We read the book "The Mitten" by Jan Brett.  For one of our math activities we guessed and counted how many manipulatives would fit into our mittens.

Since animals that hibernate in the winter go under the snow, why not do an art project 'under' the table.

Parachute fun!

Welcome 2014

Wow, where has 2013 gone?  It feels like this school year went away in a blink of an eye.  I apologize that I have not been up to date on my blog with my website.  My resolution is to get that camera out more and upload more on what we are doing in preschool!  Again I apologize for not being consistent with the website.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas break and hopefully stayed warm on that chilly day when they called off school!  BRR!!
I hope you are all excited for the new year as much as I am, especially what is in store for preschool!

Best wishes!
